Warmer Energy Solutions Ltd (Warmer) has been awarded a place on the £1.6 billion Procure Plus Framework for the Installation of Low and Zero Carbon Technologies, a four-year agreement that will help social landlords and local authorities deliver large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation programmes nationwide.
The new retrofit framework aims to accelerate decarbonisation in social housing, whilst ensuring compliant, high-quality routes to market for low-carbon technologies, aligned to the UK Government’s announced £13.2bn Warm Homes Plan funding.
The award strengthens Warmer’s expansion into the social housing and local authority markets, and marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and diversification strategy. The company is brining its customer focus and personal approach, developed in ECO4 and private retrofit markets, into the social housing sector to help tackle fuel poverty for even more families across the UK.
Warmer secured places across seven lots, achieving top-ranked positions for retrofit design and multimeasure delivery in North Wales, and national recognition for electrical heating, air-source heat pumps, and solar PV with battery storage.
These appointments mean housing associations and councils can now easily and directly procure Warmer’s full range of retrofit design, coordination, and installation services through Procure Plus.
